Background music for business, whatever your business is

Salons, showrooms, garden centres, offices, farm shops: anywhere customers or staff spend time deserves a considered soundtrack. If your space doesn't fit a neat category, this is the page for you.

Why it matters

More than filling the silence

Atmosphere with intent

Whatever the space, silence is a design choice too, usually a bad one. Curated sound makes premises feel open, warm and confident.

Curation, not shuffle

Our programmers came from UK radio. They build a balanced flow of styles, artists, eras and energy. Random shuffle can't do that, and your customers can hear the difference.

Compliance built in

Properly licensed commercial music with logging, or royalty-free catalogues where tariffs don't fit the budget. Either way, you're covered.

Set-and-forget operation

Schedules follow your opening hours, content updates itself overnight, and the whole thing runs without a member of staff ever thinking about it.

Licensing

The licence question, answered once

If music is audible to customers or staff on commercial premises, UK law treats it as a public performance, so you need TheMusicLicence (PRS for Music + PPL). That includes "just having the radio on." Consumer streaming accounts don't cover it.

We deliver music that's cleared for commercial use, with royalty-free alternatives if you'd rather avoid the tariffs, and we'll give you straight answers about what your specific premises need.

Questions

Frequently asked

My business type isn't listed on your site. Can you still help?

Almost certainly. The platform runs everywhere from cruise ships to garden centres; if your premises has speakers and customers, we can programme for it. Tell us about your space.

What does it cost?

The service starts at £45.99 per zone per month on a 24-month term, with hardware from £149 (or rental options). Multi-site pricing is tailored. Get a quote.

How is this different from a streaming service?

Three ways: it's licensed for commercial premises, it's curated by humans rather than shuffled, and it plays from local storage so it doesn't stop when the internet does.

Ready to hear it in your all businesses?

Tell us about your space and we'll build a demo around your brand, usually within the working week.
